It's funny how people, ideas and the like, show up in ones world from a number of doverse sources, quite often around the same time. lately I have been exposed to the writings and work of Simon Critchley. He has a book out, Faith of the Faithless: Experiments in Political Theology, which was featured on a number of sites, and some of the portions of the book made available were quite captivating. Here is a taste of the man. It's an academic lecture presentation--a format I find infuriating and incredibly dated and unhelpful, but, nonetheless, there is food for thought here. Would love to get some feedback.
